Old MacDonald’s Loch-Mara
Loch Mara (Gaelic for “Bay-house”) is a Canada Select Four Star accommodation resting on 4 acres of gentle hill rising from the ocean shore, overlooking a sweeping seascape in Little Pond, Prince Edward Island. It faces the Northumberland Strait and Atlantic Ocean, with the sea present in every window. To the east lies Spry Point and Sally’s Provincial Park beach (3 minute drive), and to the west the Boughton river meanders around the Cape and the Annandale lighthouse. Completely furnished cottage featuring two bedrooms, cathedral ceilings in the kitchen and living room, sleeps four comfortably, plus a cot for a fifth. Scenic, peaceful walking paths to the ocean and along the coastline. Kitchen comes fully equipped, including microwave, dishwasher, and a wide variety of cooking spices; bed, washroom, and kitchen linens included; washer/dryer and outdoor clothes line. Living room (seats 6 comfortably), dining table with four chairs (plus 2 extra); propane fireplace, Satellite TV with thermostat wall control, high speed Internet and WIFI, DVD player. Two bedrooms with closets (one with queen-size bed, one with two single beds), plus one cot, to sleep five. Fully enclosed porch (12 ft. by 14 ft.) for clean outdoor dining overlooking the ocean, with deck furniture and beach chairs; and adjoining 10′ by 12′ open deck with 3/4 acres of landscaped yard with fresh ocean breezes. Outdoor activities include barbeque, bench swing, bocce ball, croquet, baseball and beach toys. No smoking and no pets.
