Beautifully maintained 3 bedroom cottage with direct access to a private beach located on the north shores of the Northumberland Strait. Walk out from the cottage and enjoy the famous red sands of PEI. At low tide, the water recedes allowing you to walk out about 500 m. At high tide, the water off the beach is shallow, wonderful for both young and older children, reaching approx. 1 meter in depth out to 500 m offshore. Forage for your own clams or play with the abundant hermit crabs. The cottage sleeps up to 6 people, with two bedrooms on the second floor (queen bed in each) and one bedroom on the main floor (2 twins), and a sofa bed in the living room. The cottage has 2 bathrooms. The main bathroom (4 piece) is located on the second floor. There is a half bath on the main floor. The cottage is fully equipped and includes access to a washing machine, washer and dryer, tv with satellite service and wi-fi. The beach is ideally situated and a short drive anywhere on the island.
