Located in sunny St. Andrews, Prince Edward Island, Bishop’s Rest Bed & Breakfast is situated adjacent to a chapel, up on the hill, overlooking the Hillsborough River. The house is near the Bishop MacEachern National Historic Site.

The former parochial house, built in 1890, has been continuously updated since 2009 to retain its original heritage and charm, with modern luxuries.  The property is located conveniently close to white sandy beaches, golf courses, walking and biking trails, excursions, restaurants, and other amenities.  Just steps from the front door you can connect on to the Confederation Trail which will take you from one end of the island to the other.

The home features four spacious bedrooms, a large dining room, a relaxing parlour, and continental breakfast served daily. This winter, we replaced the rest of the windows in the home, and built on a lovely balcony and front entrance deck for guests to enjoy the view of the river.  We are continuing to add amenities to please our growing clientele, be it a prepared picnic lunch, dinner for two, or an on site bake shop.
