The scenic village of French River is located conveniently on the North Shore of Prince Edward island midway between our two main cities, Charlottetown and Summerside. French River is just minutes away from many Anne of Green Gables attractions and Lucy Maude historic sites and one of the world’s most highly ranked beaches at Cavendish. As well, the French River/Park Corner area is home to the highest cliffs on Prince Edward Island, affording you a stunning view of the North Shore from Cavendish to Malpeque Bay. Prince Edward Island National Park is 15 minutes away by car and there are two free, public-access beaches within a five minute drive. The beach at Cousin’s Shore is particularly beautiful and is located in Park Corner, next door to French River.
