La Petite France
Built in 1892-1894 by Fred L. Rogers, La Petite France is situated prominently on Church Street in the town of Alberton adjacent to the Alberton Courthouse Museum. The house has been recognized Registered Heritage Place in November 2006.
In 2001, Michele and Hubert Lihrmann from Colmar, France, fell in love with Prince Edward Island and this house and decided to run it as a Bed & Breakfast. The name La Petite France recalls the origins of Michele and Hubert and an idyllic area in Strasbourg, the native town of Michele.
The house offers four guest- rooms, each one designed in a distinctive style specific to a particular area of France.
Michele and Hubert are happy to welcome you at La Petite France and will make sure you enjoy your stay in a relaxed atmosphere here on Prince Edward Island.
