Star Rock Cottage – Licence # 2301040
Star Rock Cottage is a beautiful, peaceful coastal cottage. It is located just a few steps across our fields to the beach at White Sands, where you can walk to lovely secluded coves in either direction. The cottage is situated in a private spot on the owner’s small farm and is set among the paddocks of sheep and horses. Fresh eggs and organic vegetables are available for guests to pick up from our century home. Dig for delicious clams at low tide and buy fresh fish and lobster from local fishermen at the nearby harbours. Sit and watch the fox cubs play and the gannets diving from your comfortable screened deck, everyone’s favourite place.
The cottage comfortably sleeps up to four adults or two adults and two children. There is one bedroom that has a quality queen sized bed and the second bedroom has two new high end, comfortable single beds. A modern open plan kitchen/ living room plus a shower room, all rooms are decorated in country style with painted vintage furniture, cozy home made braided wool rugs and artwork to give you a home from home feel along with a sense of peace and quiet. We have endeavoured to give the cottage a homely feel with little touches of luxury such as quality beds with 100% cotton linens, cozy bath robes, fluffy white towels and bath sheets.
